Former Lawrimore Project
831 Airport Way
I am collaborating with some wonderful artists on the sound design as well as creating several new pieces for these upcoming performances.
Saint Genet the new experimental performance/visual art company founded and directed by Ryan Mitchell (founder/director of Implied Violence) and collaborating with NKO (Free Sheep) Olivier Wevers (Whim W’him), Jessie Smith (Dead Bird Movement/Implied Violence) Casey Curran (Implied Violence), Anna Telcs (Implied Violence), Garek J Druss, as well as the Implied Violence Body Politic will be producing a series of 4 Aesthetic Declarations in Seattle, WA. every Friday beginning September 23rd through October 7th MMXI. Each piece will be installed at 831 Airport Way culminating with a piece on October 5th in Occidental Park finishing in a foggy procession back to 831 Airport Way; the empty shell of a building that once was home to Scott Lawrimore and The Lawrimore Project. These pieces were developed while in residence in Mighty Tieton and trace both the direct narrative truth of the hysteria surrounding The Manson Trials, Genet’s biography, and the last moments of The Jonestown Tragedy. Altered states combat demanding psychological modes of being cracking the narrative to reveal the impossible poetic act wherein hysteria resides. Whip its, Fog, Blood, Booze, and Shit all provided by the artist.

Being nothing Saint Genet posses nothing, while secretly pursuing the the emanate possession of everything.Saint Genet is the truth of the blood- marriage between our patriarchal, existential mind, and our maternal, essential ever breaking heart. Both Satan and pestilence. Preferring nothingness to being, tension to enjoyment, substance and will, soul and consciousness, magic and freedom, concept and judgment collide, gnash, beat upon, and scream out again and again our cursed black history. We steal everywhere, against everyone, no one is spared.
Our work is directed with a war like fury and aimed, one may say, against an audience. With a mechanical violence our audience has died, over and over again they have died, and still we keep hacking away at the bloated waxy corpse. In the end, exhaustion and suffering lay our murdering hands beside our victim; the murder is a suicide. Quietly me, you, all of us our hearts pounding, know that no one has the right to forgive, no one has the right to forgive, and tomorrow dawn will break, no one has the right to forgive, tomorrow dawn will break, and nothing is beautiful save that which is not.
We must believe that. Must we not?
